The Taste Of Ink
Journal Entry: Sat May 10, 2008, 8:17 AM
Apparantely sucks. Eck! Not that I've tasted ink before. Well, actually I did, once or twice. But that's not the point. I'm just mentioning The Taste Of Ink because it narrates my life almost perfectly right now.
Dude, I just wrote this long nostalgic diary entry about how I'll miss school and then accidently deleted all of it. I'm not happy. In fact, I'm very frustrated.
Anyway, I'll try to remember what I wrote.
I'll miss school. The year is almost over. In fact, school's out by 4/6. I didn't see that coming, to be honest. I was shocked when the teacher started handing out exam timetables this week. I thought the year was barely halfway through. Apparantely, though, it's more than halfway through. It's almost over.
Two weeks of revision, two weeks of exams, and then buh-bye. (Sorry for the obnoxious buh-bye. I tend to talk like that when I'm brain-dead. Like now.)
Of course, I should be studying right now and not updating my diary on DA, but whatever. We all know I'm a horrible procrastinator. Though the thought of the exams that await me fill me with dread. If I don't start cramming soon, I'll never finish in time, and I'll fail. Oh God! The mere thought makes my blood pressure rise. No kidding.[/drama queen]
But really. It has been such a good year. I almost don't want it to end. I've had so much fun and I've so many good memories. I wanna savour every moment of this.
I get all teary-eyed everytime someone says something funny. Lol! I can't help it. It's because I really will miss school.
I'm very glad. I don't regret anything I've done this year. Which is a first.
Next year is going to be more serious studying, on account of me having to do my O-level exams next year. The prospect is quiet scary.
Not as scary as the fact that I'm going home to Daddy dearest in Egypt on 18/6. But I'll live. Possibly. I'm just not looking forward to seeing Dad again. It doesn't matter how good we both are at pretending. He always knows how to get under my skin.
But, on the other hand, I'll see my new nephew for the first time, which is great.

The destiny is the result of unexpected events. Challenges prepare you to handle important events, give you the chance to dream and the assurance that life has sense.

That immortality meant never dying"
You're welcome!
